You've created videos, connected your social accounts, and seen what GEN can do. Now it's time to fine-tune the machine.

This is where GEN stops being a generic tool and becomes your tool β€” trained on your brand, accessible to your team, and ready to share with collaborators.

Customize Your Agent: The Setup Page

Your agent's Setup page is where brand personality becomes content personality. Every video GEN creates flows through these settings β€” get them right, and everything else feels authentically you.

Click Setup in the left navigation to access your agent's brain.

Backstory

Your brand's origin story and mission. Who are you? What problem do you solve? Why should anyone care? GEN uses this context to generate content that sounds like it comes from someone who actually knows the brand.

What to include:

  • Your founding story in 2-3 sentences

  • Your mission and what makes you different

  • Your target audience and what they care about

Personality

The tone, energy, and attitude of your content. Are you playful or professional? Bold or understated? This controls how GEN writes scripts, generates captions, and crafts hooks.

Think about:

  • How would your brand speak if it were a person at a dinner party?

  • What words do you always use? What words would you never use?

  • Is your energy high-intensity or calm and confident?

Knowledge

Product details, FAQs, brand guidelines, and anything else GEN needs to create accurate content. The more specific you are here, the fewer edits you'll make later.

What to include:

  • Product names, features, and pricing

  • Common customer questions and your answers

  • Brand guidelines (colors, fonts, visual style)

  • Competitor positioning β€” what sets you apart

Avatar and Training Images

Upload a photo for your agent's visual identity, and add training images that define your brand's visual style. These references help GEN generate content that looks consistent across every video.

Training images work best when you include:

  • Product photography in your signature style

  • Example social posts that represent your aesthetic

  • Brand color palette and visual mood references

Customize Your Workspace Settings

Workspace settings control the operational side β€” who has access, how billing works, and what timezone your calendar uses.

Click the gear icon at the top right corner of the workspaces menu to open workspace settings.

Here you can:

  • Rename your workspace β€” use your brand or client name

  • Set timezone β€” controls your calendar and posting schedule

  • Manage billing β€” each workspace has its own credit plan (Starter, Pro, Growth)

  • Invite team members β€” add collaborators with specific roles

Customize Your Agent Settings

Click the gear icon at the top of the agents menu to access agent-level settings. From here you can:

  • Rename your agent β€” give it a name that reflects its content focus

  • Update agent image β€” the avatar photo that represents this agent

  • Set agent timezone β€” can differ from workspace timezone

  • Share the agent β€” give collaborators access to this specific agent

Adding Team Members

GEN is built for teams. Invite collaborators to your workspace so everyone can contribute without stepping on each other's work.

From workspace settings, click Add Member and enter their email address. Then assign a role:

  • Owner β€” Full control over everything, including billing and member management

  • Manager β€” Can manage agents, members, and all content. Cannot change billing.

  • Editor β€” Can create and edit content across all projects. Cannot manage members.

  • Viewer β€” Read-only access. Can view content but cannot insert, delete, or duplicate anything.

⚑ Pro Move: Give your content team Editor access and keep Manager access for leads. This way everyone can create, but only trusted team members can manage agents and invite new people.

Sharing Vidsheets

Want to share your work with a client, collaborator, or the world? Every Vidsheet has built-in sharing controls.

Click the Share button in the top right corner of any Vidsheet to see your options:

Private Sharing

Default setting. Only users with agent or workspace access can view the Vidsheet. If someone without access tries to open the link, they're redirected to the login page.

Public Sharing (Anyone with Link)

Toggle to "Anyone with link" and anyone can view your Vidsheet β€” no login required. Perfect for sharing with clients, showcasing your work, or letting others learn from your setup.

Public viewers can see everything but cannot modify your content. If they try to make changes, GEN prompts them to make a copy instead.

Make a Copy

The "Make a Copy" button is available on every Vidsheet. When someone copies your Vidsheet:

  1. They select which workspace and agent to copy into

  2. All content is duplicated β€” avatars, images, videos, prompts, voices, text

  3. They get their own independent version to customize

  4. Your original stays untouched

This is how templates work β€” you're copying a proven Vidsheet into your own workspace.

Multi-Workspace Strategies
