Here's where the magic starts. You're about to create your first project — think of it as your content command center where one idea becomes dozens of videos automatically.

You have two paths: grab a proven template (fastest) or start from scratch (most flexible). Either way, you'll be creating content in the next 60 seconds.

Path 1: Start with a Template (Recommended)

Templates are your fastest route to results. These are proven video formulas from brands hitting millions of views — ready to customize with your content.

Head to gen.pro/templates or click "Templates" from your dashboard.

Click any template to see example videos and understand what it creates. Each template shows. Click to use a template to open it up and play around with it.

Path 2: Start from Scratch

Want full creative control? Starting from scratch gives you a blank canvas to build exactly what you envision.

Navigate to the projects page (from navigation menu), click the + icon under "Projects." Give your project a descriptive name like "Product Launch Content" or "Q4 Holiday Campaign."

Meet Your Vidsheet

You'll land in your empty Vidsheet — this is where the magic happens. Think of it as a spreadsheet where:

Each row = one complete video
Each column = a piece of content (text, images, audio, etc.)
Cells can reference each other — change one thing, everything updates automatically.

The layout has four main sections:

Grid (left): Your content spreadsheet. Use this space to work with GEN AI to create content that will be used as inputs to generate your final video.
Video Timeline (right): Where your content becomes a video
Final Video (far right): Preview and export your finished videos

Smart Columns

You can create three types of columns:

Text columns: Regular text or AI-generated copy
AI Text columns: Powered by prompts that auto-update
Media columns: Images, videos, audio files, avatars

Variables = Automation Magic

Columns can reference other columns. When you update the source, everything connected updates automatically. This is how one product description becomes dozens of unique video scripts.

Video Timeline

The right side shows your video composition. Drag content from your grid onto the timeline to build your video. Each piece becomes a layer you can:

Resize and reposition
Trim timing
Layer on top of each other
Apply effects and transitions
